The Arbitrum Ventures Initiative (AVI) is a step forward in the evolution of the Arbitrum ecosystem, deploying up to 500m ARB through a sophisticated and diversified investment strategy. Aimed at providing ecosystem investment and development finance through equity instruments for fostering growth beyond grant programs.
This includes the integration of equity and quasi-equity investments, revenue-sharing agreements, token-based investments and TVL provision, debt facilities, as well as partnerships with specialised accelerators, venture builders, and venture capitalists. We are seeking insights from GPs of VC funds and the founders of startups to create a robust and inclusive ecosystem investment strategy for Arbitrum DAO.

What’s Next: Arbitrum Growth Circles** 🔵
One of the strategic directions outlined in AVI is *Plaid for Crypto:* a vision for more seamless, secure, and user-friendly connections between Web3 and traditional finance. As we align on Phase 2 of AVI, we are laying the groundwork for this vision.
Through Arbitrum Growth Circles (AGC), we’ve begun backing teams aligned with this thesis, helping them refine go-to-market strategies and accelerate adoption. This not only supports founders on the ground but also signals to institutional players that a credible ecosystem is forming around these needs, with Arbitrum at the center.
